MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in St Louis seeks a Day Care Assistant Teacher to join our St Louis Daycare team. You will support our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work, and help create a welcoming learning space for young children.

The role requires being 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of supervised assistant teaching experience. It offers flexible schedules and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of experience as a supervised Assistant Teacher in a day care or school setting is required.
• Knowledge of basic child needs and sensitivity to children's day care needs.

Responsibilities

• Follows schedule for classroom so that activities are timely and organized.
• Completes the Opening Procedures, Nap time Procedures and Closing Procedures on a daily basis so that classrooms and common areas remain clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
