Job summary

Kohl's in Madison, IN is seeking an Associate to keep the store safe and clean. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across all areas, follow best practices, and support store operations to ensure a great customer experience.

Starting at 6am, you will greet customers, restock supplies, assist with product and omni-channel fulfillment when needed, and complete required training on chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service with ability to multi-task and maintain detail.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the store (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Kohl's standards and procedures.
• Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Replenish and rotate chemicals and supplies; store properly in designated containers.
• Complete required training for chemical handling, equipment, and maintenance.
• Perform routine basic equipment maintenance according to guidelines.
• Utilize Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the team.
• Assist the operations team with receiving, stockroom duties, and omni-channel fulfillment when needed.
• Greet customers and offer help with products and services.
