Job summary

Maxx Fitness Clubzz is seeking a Morning Opener to provide a superior level of customer service and create a positive member experience. The role includes opening the club on time each day, greeting members, handling front desk tasks, and assisting with member sign-ups and tours.

You will manage phone inquiries, check-ins, and account updates, learn the club's computer system, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all guests and members.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member's expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Open the club on time daily.
• Arrive early (4:45 a.m.) to open at 5:00 a.m. and work until 11:00 a.m.
• Greet members, prospective members and guests with friendly service.
• Handle front desk activities: answer phones, check in members, sign up new members, give tours.
• Learn and use the computer operating system.
• Update member accounts as needed.
• Respond to questions and concerns and escalate when needed.
• Maintain club cleanliness and neatness.
