Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in baking, bakery production, food service, or retail preferred.
• Knowledge of bread-making techniques, dough preparation, and baking processes preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, shape, proof, and bake breads and rolls according to recipes and production schedules.
• Monitor fermentation, proofing times, and baking temperatures for consistency and quality.
• Operate bakery equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and proofing equipment.
• Prepare production quantities to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
• Package, label, and stock baked products for retail display.
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, appearance, and labeling.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, and production areas.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and notify management of supply needs.
• Assist customers with bakery orders and product questions when needed.
• Support other bakery operations and special projects as assigned.
