Emerald Coast Bread Company in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Morning Baker / Delivery Driver who loves baking and serving customers with fresh, handcrafted breads and pastries. This role blends kitchen craft with on-the-road service, ideal for an early riser who takes pride in quality and reliability.

You will bake to established recipes, manage morning production and packaging, load and deliver to local businesses, and uphold food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior baking, food production, or culinary experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to start early morning hours, typically before dawn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake fresh breads, pastries per recipes and quality standards.
• Manage morning production schedules to ensure all products are baked, packaged, and ready for delivery on time.
• Operate and maintain ovens, mixers, and proofing stations.
• Load and organize delivery vehicle with accuracy, ensuring all orders are complete and properly packaged.
• Deliver baked goods to local businesses, restaurants, and retail partners along assigned routes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bakery workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and represent the brand with a positive attitude.
