Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician II to support data center and critical infrastructure projects across client environments. This role focuses on installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure in fast-paced field settings.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on data center experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams in on-site environments.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in data center, telecom, or IT infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with cabling, hardware installation, equipment replacement, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling and data center best practices.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 support for servers and network devices in data center environments.
• Serve as escalation point for Technician I staff.
• Execute installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure across client environments.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure compliance with data center standards.

This individual will be responsible for executing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in data center environments, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in fast‑paced, field‑based settings.
