Job summary

ArrowCore Group is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time role in Palo Alto, CA. The candidate will support the reliability and day-to-day operation of an active data center, troubleshooting hardware, deploying equipment, and maintaining asset records.

Ideal applicants have 4+ years in data center operations, hands-on server experience, and proficiency with Linux/Windows fundamentals, power, cooling, and network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data center operations or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on server deployments and hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Experience maintaining SOPs, MOPs, rack elevations, asset records, and guides.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, power, cooling and network infra.
• Experience with inventory management, audits, and change management.
• Ability to document findings clearly and work independently.
• Experience in large-scale data centers and scripting/automation with Python, Bash, or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware in a live data center environment.
• Support equipment deployments and decommissioning activities.
• Maintain accurate asset records and configurations (rack elevations, SOPs, MOPs).
• Respond to incidents and document findings for post-incident review.

Our firm is searching for Data Center Operations Technician / SiteOps professionals in Palo Alto.

Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Palo Alto, California

Duration: Full Time Role

Pay Rate: $45-50/Hr

This hands-on role supports the reliability and day-to-day operation of an active data center. You will troubleshoot and repair hardware, support equipment deployments, maintain accurate asset records, and respond to incidents in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure support
• Hands-on experience with server deployments, hardware troubleshooting, break/fix work, cabling, rack-and-stack, and decommissioning
• Experience maintaining operational documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, rack elevations, asset records, and troubleshooting guides
• Strong understanding of server hardware, Linux/Windows fundamentals, power, cooling, and network infrastructure
• Experience with inventory management, audits, ticketing systems, and change management
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and document findings clearly
• Strong attention to detail and experience working in large-scale data center environments
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash, APIs, Jira, or similar tools
