Job summary

Insight Global’s healthcare client is seeking a L1 Data Center/NOC Technician responsible for monitoring and health of the Central Data Center. They will create Active Directory accounts, ensure a stable operating environment, and strive for maximum utilization of system facilities.

They may troubleshoot and restore routine technical service, schedule production runs, and triage calls to admins across Server, Messaging, Network, Backup, SAN, and UNIX teams to contact the appropriate person when

Qualifications

• ,1+ year of experience in a Data Center or NOC environment.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience with ticketing systems, ideally ServiceNow.
• Comfort walking data center floor and taking inventory.
• Ability to triage calls to admins across Server/DB/Storage/Networking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Central Data Center and its health.
• Create Active Directory accounts and ensure stable operating environment.
• Maximize utilization of system facilities and perform production runs.
• Troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and peripheral equipment.
• Triage calls to admins within Server, Messaging, Network, Backup, SAN, and UNIX teams.

Job description

Available Shifts: 12.5 hour shifts, 30 minute break

Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday | 6:30 AM–7:30 PM

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday | 6:30 AM–7:30 PM

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of experience working in a Data Center or NOC Environment
• Basic Networking Skill and Knowledge
• Ability to monitor alerts/tickets,, while coordinating with infrastructure teams (Servers, database, storage, telecom, networking etc)
• Must be comfortable walking data center floor and taking inventory
• Experience working with a ticketing system (ideally SNOW)
