Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Fort Wayne is seeking a Data Center Team Lead for the C shift (Mon-Thu 8 PM–6:30 AM) to oversee loading/unloading, rack placement, cabling, and safety in a busy datacenter environment.

You will coordinate inventory, quality checks, and returns while using multiple WMS tools and equipment to support critical spare parts handling and daily operations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols is required as this role handles live electrical/electronic equipment.
• 3–5 years of related experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading/unloading of freight and manage shipping documents/records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for part numbers, quantities and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor with 100% accuracy using laser tools.
• Install cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards.
• Push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday.
