Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an Applications Engineer to enable enterprise datacenter customers of our GPU products. You will work with OEM partners on server hardware bring-up, debug, and design collateral, both on site and remotely as needed, translating complex systems into actionable guidance.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise datacenter support, Cadence Allegro, oscilloscope work, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supporting enterprise datacenter products for x86 or ARM architectures.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro Schematic Design Entry (Concept HDL) and Allegro PCB Layout.
• Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscope, multi-meters and logic analyzers.
• Background in power integrity concepts, signal integrity, and high-speed board design.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OEM customers through design, validation and production flows; provide onsite support for bring-up and debugging of server hardware.
• Participate in customer interactions and meetings via conference calls or in person.
• Translate system design requirements for HPC/AI workloads into platform configuration guides for x86/ARM servers.
• Review designs for architecture, thermal, mechanical, schematic, layout, and signal integrity; provide feedback.
• Work with NVIDIA customers to analyze data, reproduce errors, and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
• Perform hardware debug using oscilloscope and analyzers to qualify NVIDIA products on customer systems.
• Track and reproduce new bugs; support system integration issues including PCIe and GPU interconnects.
• Travel locally and internationally for on-site support.
