Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Platform Engineer to own Databricks environments, cloud infrastructure, and data ingestion pipelines. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms across the enterprise.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Databricks administration experience, Terraform IaC skills, and comfort with Azure services, data governance, and CI/CD practices. Columbus, OH area preferred for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Data/Platform/Cloud Engineering or related.
• Experience administering Databricks environments.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience supporting Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting production environments and operational workloads.
• Understanding of data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Databricks environments for analytics and data engineering.
• Manage configurations, cluster performance, capacity planning, and operational stability.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud automation.
• Build and support data ingestion frameworks and pipelines across platforms.
• Ensure governance, access controls, and security standards.
