Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Engineering team in the United States is pursuing Databricks-forward GenAI initiatives, partnering with client teams to prototype and deliver high-impact AI solutions. You will embed with clients, shape solutions, and deliver working systems while mentoring peers and maintaining high engineering standards.

You will develop scalable AI patterns, support CI/CD, and contribute reusable assets. A background in data/AI engineering, strong communication, and ability to travel will help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Active US government security clearance (Secret or higher).
• 2+ years in software/data/analytics engineering.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM solutions in client or production.
• 1+ years with Databricks and related data platform tech (Lakeflow Connect, Agent Bricks, Databricks Apps).
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating problems into AI solutions.
• 1+ years building reliable, maintainable code with CI/CD in Databricks.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Authorized to work in US without sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Partner with leaders and engineers to align priorities and delivery.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver working AI solutions.
• Mentor newer team members.
• Deliver production-quality code with tests, CI/CD, logging and documentation.
• Design extensible functionality and support sprint sizing.
• Contribute reusable assets like code, prompt libraries, runbooks.
