Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Data Architect Director in Dallas, TX to lead and grow the Databricks and Data Modernization capability within North America. You will provide executive advisory, shape the strategy, and drive transformation programs across large enterprise data platforms.

The role requires deep data platform expertise, proven leadership of diverse teams, and a track record of delivering business outcomes through modern data, analytics, and AI.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in professional services, consulting, technology services, or industry leadership.
• 10+ years leading enterprise data analytics, data platform, or modernization programs.
• Deep expertise in Databricks and modern enterprise data architecture.
• Experience leading data modernization, cloud migration, data lakehouse, or analytics transformations.
• Experience managing senior architects, technical leaders, and consulting teams.
• Proven success expanding consulting practices and executive relationships.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Databricks and Data Modernization capability within the Data Practice.
• Advise CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders on data strategy, modernization, AI readiness, cloud transformation, and analytics initiatives.
• Provide leadership and architectural oversight for large-scale data platforms and lakehouse transformations.
• Partner with Go-To-Market leaders to shape offerings and growth strategies.
• Mentor a high-performing team of architects and consultants.
• Establish best practices, reference architectures, reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery standards.
• Drive adoption of Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, and related ecosystem technologies.
• Support strategic technology alliances and stay aware of partner roadmaps and capabilities.
• Own workforce planning and talent growth to meet demand and expansion.
• Collaborate across Consulting, Applications, Cloud, Data, AI, and Industry teams to deliver integrated transformation outcomes.
