Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer II to join its Core AI & Data practice in the United States. You will design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL, supporting enterprise data modernization and AI use cases.

Travel about 50% may be required, with collaboration across client and Deloitte teams. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years in data engineering, ETL, or data platforms, plus experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Math or Statistics.
3+ years of data engineering, ETL, or data platform experience.
2+ years building Databricks pipelines with Spark, Python, and SQL.
Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Ability to travel ~50% and potential sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data engineering solutions using Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.
Modernize enterprise data platforms with cloud-based ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Develop batch and streaming data workflows for reporting and AI use cases.
Apply data architecture and modeling to improve quality, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with client and Deloitte teams to deliver large-scale data transformations.
