Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice seeks an Azure/Databricks Infrastructure Engineer III to design, implement, and optimize secure Azure and Databricks environments for enterprise clients. You will help modernize cloud and data platforms to accelerate analytics and AI initiatives.

You will work across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, analytics modernization, DevOps automation, and enterprise data transformation, with frequent client interactions and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
4+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and platform delivery.
Hands-on experience with Azure networking, Landing Zones and scalable cloud architecture.
Experience administering Databricks, Unity Catalog, governance and clusters.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and enterprise operations.
Ability to travel ~50% and may require immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Designing, building, and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and Databricks environments for enterprise clients.
Implementing Azure landing zones, networking, security controls, and scalable cloud architectures.
Configuring and administering Databricks workspaces, Unity Catalog, governance, and security controls.
Developing IaC solutions with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates; automating deployments via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Supporting modernization, analytics, AI, and data transformation through architecture reviews and workshops.
Participating in architecture reviews, workshops, client discussions, and operational planning.
