Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – Data Analytics to lead the enterprise data strategy centered on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will design scalable, secure data solutions enabling analytics, AI, and operational reporting from a hybrid enterprise landscape.

The role is fully remote within the United States, with responsibilities spanning architecture leadership, documentation, and collaboration across multi-functional teams to translate business

Qualifications

• 4+ years in enterprise IT operations, systems engineering, or infrastructure architecture across multiple applications and data sources.
• Deep expertise in IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef.
• Proven CI/CD experience: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience designing cloud-based data solutions on Azure: ADF, Storage/ADLS, networking, IAM, Key Vault.
• Enterprise data platform experience with Databricks or similar.
• Data architectures supporting BI/analytics; familiarity with Fabric and Power BI.
• Knowledge of on-prem Windows/Linux, networking, and security infra.
• DevOps and Agile methodologies in software delivery lifecycles.
• IAM automation including AD integration and RBAC provisioning.
• Cloud cost management for capacity workloads.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field; equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving with execution focus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; mentoring engineers.
• Innovative mindset for automation and modern cloud practices.
• Adaptability to evolving automation and cloud landscape.

• Delivers strategic direction for enterprise-wide solution architecture.
• Executes design and improvements across product features and architecture.
• Guides solution/system architecture across multiple products.
• Translates requirements into effective architectural designs.
• Participates in cross-architecture reviews for integration requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation and standards for architecture solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Ensure automation designs meet security, compliance, and performance needs.
• Collaborate with business customers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor environment health and drive continuous improvement in data ecosystem.
