We are looking for an experienced Databricks Administrator to manage and maintain

Databricks platforms in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid

background in cloud technologies, data engineering workflows, platform security, and

performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and manage Databricks workspaces across cloud platforms (AWS,

Monitor, maintain, and optimize Databricks clusters, job performance, and usage.

Manage access controls, user provisioning, and workspace-level security.

Handle integration with external tools like ADLS, S3, SQL Warehouses, Synapse,

Administer job scheduling, Delta Live Tables, and data pipeline monitoring.

Manage and support Unity Catalog and access control policies.

Support DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines for notebooks, jobs, and

Monitor usage, cost optimization, and ensure platform governance and compliance.

Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches to the platform.

Troubleshoot platform issues, logs, and support development/data science teams.

Work with security, network, and platform engineering teams to ensure compliance

Required Skills and Qualification:

3+ years of experience as a Databricks Administrator or similar role.

Hands-on experience in administering Databricks on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong knowledge of Spark architecture, cluster management, and resource

allocation.

Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), OAuth, SCIM provisioning.

Experience working with Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and workspace security.

Proficient in SQL, Python, and scripting for automation.

Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Databricks certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.

Background in data engineering or platform operations.
