Job summary

Immediate Office of the Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Administration in the Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Database Manager for a Consolidated Patient Account Center (CPAC). The role centers on billing and collection data analysis and reporting to support revenue operations across the VHA network.

The incumbent will coordinate with IRM and other offices, maintain database files, and prepare management reports on system-related activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates billing and collection activity data; identifies trends, patterns, deviations, and errors; develops corrective actions to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Monitors, reviews, and evaluates system error reports from payers, the Austin Automation Center, and other sources.
• Maintains control over and reports on software patch implementation.
