Bearing is seeking a skilled database-focused engineer to design, implement, and optimize data storage and workflows. You will build and maintain database structures aligned with the system architecture and lead the development of database parsing and loading software.

The role includes creating Python-based RESTful APIs with Django/Flask, interacting with MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, and delivering JSON data to the frontend.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing MongoDB instances.
• Proficient in Python with Django or Flask for APIs.
• Experience with micro-services and cloud environments (AWS, similar).
• Proficient with Docker, IDEs, JSON/XML serialization, and Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and development expertise for databases, data storage, and data flow analysis.
• Develop and maintain database structures aligned with system architecture.
• Design workflows and respond to break/fix and system updates.
• Lead development of database structures, parsing, and loading software.
• Develop and test Python RESTful APIs and microservices to serve JSON data to UI.
