Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Database Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on database design, development, implementation of data storage and retrieval, and data flow analysis using MongoDB and related stacks.

You will lead the development of database structures, parser software, and loading utilities, while supporting Python-based REST endpoints and microservices with Django/Flask to interact with MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, delivering JSON to UI front ends.

Qualifications

• MongoDB deployment, management and scaling.
• Experience building Python REST endpoints with Django/Flask.
• Proficiency with Swagger and API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/C2S) and containerization.
• Source control with Git and collaboration tools like Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for database design, development and data retrieval.
• Develop or maintain database structures and create new workflows.
• Lead development of database structures, parser software and loading tools.
• Support Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management using Django/Flask and database backends (MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
