Job summary

AgCountry Farm Credit Services is seeking a Database Engineer to join our Omaha, NE team. You will install, configure, monitor, and support enterprise databases (SQL Server, Oracle) across on‑prem and cloud environments, with on‑call duties and strong focus on performance, security, backups, and automation.

You will collaborate with IT and business partners to ensure high availability and scalable data solutions in a 24x7 operating model. A BS in CS/MIS is preferred with 4–6 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or MIS required/preferred.
• 4–6 years of database management and development experience.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle tools and cloud DBs.
• Ability to architect complex databases to support changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable, timely database support and incident handling.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for critical systems.
• Administer, monitor, and optimize SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Develop automation for routine DB admin tasks and deployments.
• Maintain security, backups, and DR processes.
• Support migrations, refreshes, and operational improvements.
