Maximus seeks a Database Engineer to support USAF missions, delivering analytical skills for process improvement, studies, and requirements definition. You will analyze, plan, model, and help build functional architectures in a dynamic multi-tier environment.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility, 10+ years of experience across database development, PostgreSQL (7+ years), and Enterprise DB (5+ years). Travel up to 10–20% may be required.

Competenze

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least 10 years in the functional area with a bachelor's degree (master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 10 years of combined experience in database development/engineering, design, requirements, and architectures.
• 5 years' experience with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing automated installation scripts and multi-tiered database solutions.

The Database Engineer provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.

This position is remote a requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area. Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 10 years of combined experience in: (a) Database development and software engineering/development; (b) Database Design and Data Modeling; (c) Requirements analysis/generation; (d) Developing systems and software architectures.
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Required Certification: DCWF Job Code: 421 Advanced
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
• Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Oracle DBA Certified Professional, CISSP
