Qualifications

• 4 years of familiarity with RDBMS systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SQL, server administration, and database design concepts.
• Experience with SSRS and SSIS or related reporting/integration tools.
• Degree in computer science or related field; related work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist primary database administrator in all database administration functions.
• Establish backup processes and test backups per application needs.
• Ensure high availability and performance through architecture and configurations.
• Troubleshoot outages, after-hours support, and vendor coordination.
• Install/configure new database servers and deploy change scripts from vendors.
• Document the database environment and governance policies.
