Job summary

Candidates should have extensive DBA experience, familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase, and a DoD 8570.01‑M IAT II certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience as a DBA in similar scope and complexity.
• BS in a technical field from an accredited institution.
• Experience supporting MS SQL, MariaDB, and/or Oracle databases.
• Strong index and performance management and backup/recovery skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams on mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize databases across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security with proactive improvements.
• Coordinate database changes with Database Engineers (DBEs).
• Lead and adopt current database tools, strategies, and technologies.
• Provide server administration support across Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.
