Job Description:

Introduction:

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) requires the services of one (1) Database Administrator, Level 2.

Scope/Description of Services:

The Worker(s) will provide the following services:

1. Perform database programming to modernize legacy programs for various projects.
2. Develop simple and complex Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts for data migration and validation.
3. Perform data profiling and analysis.
4. Develop technical documentation including source to target mapping.
5. Develop database code (triggers and stored procedures) for data entry and reporting.
6. Support compliance with acceptable best practices for Data Management and Governance standards.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will not be considered for this opportunity.

Skills/Experience:

1. 7 years working knowledge of SQL scripting and data batch processing in legacy and current technology.
2. 5-7 years executing data conversions for large volumes of data.
3. 7 years ETL Development experience using a tool like SSIS or Informatica.
4. 7 years skill in solving problems, in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing data conversion projects/programs.
5. 5-7 years data conversion and migration for enterprise level projects.
6. 7 years developing Database conceptual, logical and physical database design models to include data dictionary and library.
7. 7 years strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Azure SQL managed instances, and any other database management technologies.
8. 5-7 years knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform Services, and Cloud Service delivery models.
9. 7 years knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design.
10. 4-7 years strong skills in performing data analysis and ensuring data quality.
11. 4-7 years experience with Collibra, Informatica.
