The role emphasizes ELT processes, data integration, HIPAA/PII compliance, and user documentation. A CS-related degree with 2+ years in database work and data warehousing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience in database programming/administration.
• At least 2 years’ experience with data warehousing.
• Proven experience with SQL and data analytics.
• Experience in testing and verifying data accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Services, Microsoft SQL and SAP SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the PHG Data Warehouse, integrating data from various sources.
• Collaborate with software vendors, IT, and Data Analytics staff to configure and maintain databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Design and customize applications to track programs and activities.
• Oversee data ELT processes, including migration and data entry.
• Ensure data security, including PII and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain access control, audit records, and system security.
• Develop and manage backup and recovery plans.
• Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance.
• Diagnose and resolve data warehouse issues.
