Job summary

New Mexico Mutual in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Data Warehouse and BI Developer to join the Business Analytics team. You will define, develop, and support analytic systems to provide end users timely, accurate access to data for reporting and analysis.

This full-time on-site role requires relocation if out of state. You will monitor ETL processes, enhance BI applications, and collaborate to design data extraction programs that meet end-user needs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Management/Information Systems or related business experience.
• Master's degree in computer science preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in DW, ETL, BI development and support.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to think critically, identify issues and outline solutions.
• Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency; SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot the existing ETL processes.
• Enhance existing and create new ETL processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI applications, including frameworks, cubes and reports; ensure Cognos reporting availability.
• Enhance existing and create new BI applications.
• Collaborate to design and implement data extraction programs for BI solutions.
• Analyze data for accuracy and reconcilability; perform QA testing before production.
• Explore Cognos capabilities to expand BI knowledge and share best practices.
• Support DW/BI infrastructure including Business Objects Data Services, IBM Cognos Data Manager, IBM Cognos Studios, Framework Manager and Transformer.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver technical documentation related to ETL, scheduled processes, frameworks, transformations, etc.
