Monthly Pay: $4,441 - $6,239 USD per month
Summary:
Working in a CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a database client such as DBeaver, the Data Verification Analyst reviews business information and identifies differences that need attention. Accurate data verification helps colleagues use dependable contact details, account attributes, and operational reference information. The role sits within the administrative operations team, works under an operations team lead, and collaborates with data entry staff and information owners. This fully remote position supports work from home in Colorado, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review incoming verification requests in the shared work queue, confirm the requested scope, and identify the reference information needed before starting each check.
- Compare business contact details, account identifiers, and reference values against approved internal sources, noting missing fields, inconsistent formats, and conflicting entries.
- Use a CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 to inspect existing entries, review available change history, and record verification findings beside the relevant item.
- Use a database client such as DBeaver to run provided read-only queries, inspect matching results, and compare values without changing database structures.
- Check for possible duplicate entries using established matching criteria, distinguishing clear matches from cases that require additional review by an information owner.
- Record each discrepancy with the affected field, supporting reference, comparison result, and recommended next step so another colleague can understand the finding.
- Request clarification from data entry staff or information owners when sources disagree, and follow up on unanswered questions according to team procedures.
- Escalate unresolved discrepancies, repeated errors, or unclear verification instructions to the operations team lead rather than making unsupported assumptions or changes.
- Summarize recurring mismatch patterns and completed checks for the operations team, highlighting where clearer field definitions or source guidance could reduce errors.
- Close reviewed queue items after confirming the outcome and recording any remaining action; quality is judged by accuracy, turnaround, complete notes, and follow-up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required; related experience in data verification, administrative review, or checking business information is preferred.
- Understanding of field formats, duplicate identification, source comparison, and the difference between missing information and a confirmed mismatch.
- Familiarity with CRM navigation and structured data tables is preferred, including locating entries and comparing corresponding fields across sources.
- Basic understanding of relational databases, field mapping, and guided read-only SQL queries is preferred; advanced programming is not required.
- Ability to explain discrepancies clearly in writing, ask focused questions, and provide concise updates to colleagues with different responsibilities.
- Ability to follow review instructions, handle business information carefully, and separate supported findings from assumptions when reporting results.
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Fully remote work from home focused on desk-based review and collaboration.
