Job summary

INVID is seeking a data testing engineer to ensure accuracy, reliability, and quality across our data platform and BI outputs. You will validate data pipelines, transformations, and end-to-end reporting, perform UAT, and develop regression testing frameworks in a hybrid, office-and-remote environment.

Collaborating with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to QA practices and release readiness from ingestion to reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in QA, data engineering, BI testing, or related roles.
• Proven experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines and BI/reporting solutions.
• Strong data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience validating Power BI reports, dashboards, and UAT coordination.
• Familiarity with Dev/Test/Prod release cycles and QA best practices.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies and test plans across data layers.
• Validate data accuracy through end-to-end reconciliation.
• Perform Power BI validation and testing in non-production environments.
• Develop and maintain regression testing frameworks.
• Document defects, test results, and release readiness criteria.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and stakeholders.
• Support release validation processes and continuous QA improvement.
