Job summary

Magpie Health Analytics, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer to validate data pipelines, reports, and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and user-focused delivery in a collaborative Agile environment.

You will write and execute test cases, perform smoke and regression tests, and document results in Jira/Confluence while supporting microservices and AWS-based workflows. Proficiency with Pytest and Python is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, IT, health informatics, or related field.
• 4 years of QA, software testing, or technical documentation experience.
• Experience with Pytest, Selenium, or Postman for test automation.
• Proficient in Python scripting for test development.
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD in Agile environments.
• Strong attention to detail and clear defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing and executing test cases for data validation, file processing, and dashboard rendering.
• Perform smoke tests, regression tests, and accessibility (508) checks across DEV/VAL/PROD.
• Document defects, test results, and deployment readiness in Jira and Confluence.
• Support integration and end-to-end testing of microservices and AWS data workflows.
• Learn to write and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Pytest.
• Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and product owners to understand rules.
