Job summary

TEL is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that drive BI, analytics, and decision-making. The role focuses on ETL pipelines, data modeling, and AI-enabled analytics within a hybrid work environment in Chattanooga, TN.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to build scalable data systems and impactful dashboards using SQL, Python, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Tableau, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Experience in cloud-based data environments and modern analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines from multiple sources.
• Build scalable data processing, transformation, and storage solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Support dashboards, reports, and visualizations for insights.
• Ensure data quality and lifecycle governance.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues.
• Integrate data via APIs and external systems.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on new data engineering and AI trends.
