Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Public Health (SCDPH) is seeking personnel to support the Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) by improving data access for decision making. The role will assist epidemiologists and collaborate with IT in deploying RedCap projects and roll out a more robust Electronic Disease Surveillance System (EDSS).

This position supports the agency's Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) efforts by increasing and improving data availability and access to data for decision making. Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned, including required travel if requested, and responds as directed during emergencies which may occur outside normal work hours, and travel if requested.

State Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree and professional experience related to the position.

Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
