Job summary

General Excavating Company is seeking a Data Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technology in the Omaha office. You will design, implement, and optimize data systems, collaborating with teams to automate processes and improve reporting across Sage 300 CRE, HCSS solutions, and SQL-based tools.

Responsibilities include creating dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and supporting AI-enabled analytics to drive business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis, business systems analysis, reporting, integrations, BI, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data systems and applications.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting, integration, and data requirements.
• Analyze data to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain data mapping, transformation, and validation documentation.
• Support data conversions and migrations during system enhancements.
