Job summary

Talantir in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (Data Analyst) for a hybrid contract. You will understand business objectives, identify alternatives, and evaluate cost/benefit scenarios.

Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements to automate processing, improve existing systems, and work with data teams to design inputs, outputs, and reporting formats.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of dashboard/reporting experience with Tableau/PowerBI and strong ETL with Informatica.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (Data Analyst) for a hybrid contract in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Understand business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years experience creating dashboards or reports using Tableau / PowerBI or similar tools. 8 years of Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and data management experience using Informatica.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with very large scale data sets in Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, , or similar. Snowflake experience strongly preferred. Experience with data analysisExperience working with Tableau creating dashboards and reports.Experience working with PowerBI creating dashboards and reports.
