AmeriCorps VISTA is seeking a Data Systems and Communications volunteer for the GROW Initiative GA in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on strengthening organizational capacity by improving data management, communication tools, and documentation practices to support community programs and long-term sustainability.

The service runs 09/08/2026 to 09/07/2027, is full-time, and requires a high school diploma/GED. Bilingual English/Spanish is welcomed; relocation and health coverage are included in

Job description

The goal of this project is to strengthen the organizational capacity of GROW Initiative GA by improving data systems, communication tools, and documentation practices that support community-based programs, resource development, and long-term sustainability. Through this work, GROW can better track outcomes, communicate impact, and expand access to education, health, nutrition, and support services for underserved residents in Savannah and Coastal Georgia.

Member Duties

The VISTA member will build the organizational capacity of GROW Initiative GA by developing and improving internal data management systems, strengthening communication and outreach materials, supporting program evaluation, and organizing documentation that improves continuity and sustainability. These efforts will help GROW better monitor participation and outcomes, demonstrate community impact, and position the organization for stronger partnerships and funding opportunities.
