Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a data and systems analyst to provide standard system and data analysis, and assist with tools and technology implementations. The role includes coordinating building, documenting, and reviewing analysis methods and processes, and collaborating with internal and external teams to collect data.

The candidate will identify gaps, analyze data, and drive changes to applications, systems, and infrastructure to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 3 years relevant system/technical analysis experience.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze gaps and document analysis conducted on software programs, applications, infrastructure and systems and services.
• Collaborates with internal departments and end users within the pre-defined scope.
• Collects data and conducts analysis for system and enhancement through collaboration with organizational teams.
• Drives implementation of changes for application, system, infrastructure and services to meet organization needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate activities related to evaluate and recommend new tools or platforms or services to achieve organization goals.
