Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an IT Architect 5 TX to lead cloud-based data warehouse solutions supporting analytics and AI. You will design and implement enterprise data platforms on Azure, AWS, or GCP, coordinating with clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders.

You will drive data integration, documentation, and governance while leading multiple projects in a rigorous healthcare setting. Strong communication and agile collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud data warehouse platforms for analytics in healthcare.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams in a large healthcare enterprise.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 8+ years in data/analytics architecture.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends/evenings as needed.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data strategy, design, development and deployment of enterprise data warehouse/analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational teams to capture requirements and deliver analytics capabilities.
• Maintain technical documentation in centralized repositories and data models.
• Guide data integration from systems like EMR, ERP, API sources; ensure data quality and privacy compliance.
• Coordinate with agile teams using Confluence, JIRA, MS Teams.
