Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Data Strategy to lead enterprise data products, ensuring high-quality, well-governed data is accessible across the organization. You will work with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver reliable data products with measurable impact.

You will define roadmaps, drive data quality initiatives, and translate business needs into concrete data product requirements, including schemas, SLAs, and consumption patterns.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technical product management, data, or related field.
• Experience with data modeling and BI tools.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for master and reference data products across the full data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, governance, and business teams to apply MDM/RDM best practices.
• Use SQL and data profiling to explore data, validate requirements, and identify trends or issues.
• Translate business needs into actionable data product requirements including schemas, transformations, and SLAs.
• Guide delivery teams on data product practices and backlog management.
• Support production issue resolution with root-cause analysis for data quality or pipeline problems.
• Drive adoption by improving usability, consistency, and trust across systems.
