Job summary

The Vanguard Group is seeking a Technical Product Manager, Data Strategy to lead master and reference data product strategy, roadmaps, and data lifecycle—from ingestion through modeling to consumption. You will partner with data engineering, analytics, governance, and business teams to define standards, schemas, SLAs, and data quality practices.

Qualifications

5+ years in technical product management, data, or related field.
Experience with data engineering, BI or analytics concepts.
Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on SQL experience.
Advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead vision, strategy, and roadmap for master and reference data products across the full data lifecycle.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, governance, and business teams to define standards and data quality practices.
Translate business needs into clear data product requirements, including schemas and SLAs.
Guide delivery teams on data product practices and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Support data governance, metadata initiatives, and data discoverability.
