Job summary

Point72 is seeking an Data Sourcing & Strategy Operations Analyst in New York, NY to support data sourcing and research initiatives for our Market Intelligence team. You will collaborate across the firm and with external vendors to source data and run research used by investment teams.

You will manage relationships with data providers, coordinate internal workflows with Legal, Compliance, and Finance, and help onboard new content providers while overseeing contract renewals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies and their application to data and investment research.
• Excellent attention to detail, as well as organizational and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Superb business intuition and a solution-oriented, methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships across multiple business units within the firm.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Data Sourcing and Strategy team in managing relationships with data and research providers, including facilitating requested service changes, ensuring internal use of services follows the firm’s contracts and obligations, and staying current on the evolving data market.
• Help manage the team’s operations workflow by working closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and manage the Data Sourcing and Strategy knowledgebase by developing an understanding of system architecture.
• Develop strong internal relationships by assisting with questions and requests from investment teams, working closely with Data Compliance, and supporting new hire on-boarding.
• Coordinate new content provider on-boarding and contract/subscription renewal processes, working with investment teams to assess content requirements, negotiating business terms, and coordinating approvals.
