About our Business Transformation Program
Our business-led transformation program is strategically aimed at transforming the PMS ways of working and improving end-to-end processes enabled by technology. It is a multi-phased program consisting of the following components: Master Data Management, migrating to a modern ERP platform, and leveraging Salesforce Service Management and Experience Cloud.
The Role: Data Steward
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveData Stewardto support our enterprise-wide data management initiatives as part of our business transformation program. This role will be instrumental in ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance across systems, with a strong focus on data cleansing, data transformation, and governance enforcement.
Responsibilities:
Data Governance & Quality
Enforce data governance policies and standards across ERP and Salesforce platforms.
Monitor and improve data quality, including duplication, validation and enrichment.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and maintain data definitions and metadata
ERP Transformation Support
Partner with ERP implementation teams to ensure data readiness and integrity.
Assist in data migration, mapping, and transformation activities.
Validate data post-migration and support reconciliation efforts.
Monitor and resolve data quality issues related to Salesforce objects such as Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and custom objects
Lead initiatives to map, transform, and reconcile data between Salesforce and ERP platforms
Recommend validation rules, automation, and quality controls.
Support data migration, cleansing, and enrichment efforts
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align data with business needs.
Cross Functional Support
Work with IT, business analysts and data owners to resolve data issues
Support master data management initiatives and data lineage documentation
Provide training and guidance to promote data stewardship across the organization
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data quality roles.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Strong understanding of data management principles, including MDM and metadata.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or BI tools).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience in large-scale data transformation or system implementation projects is a plus.
Required Skills:
Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Proven experience managing and stewarding data within Salesforce, including understanding of data schema, validation rules, and automation tools.
Experience with data migration tools and ETL processes.
Data Modeling: Understanding of data schemas, relationships, and normalization
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and compliance standards.
Experience working with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics

How we determine what we pay (compensation philosophy)
Particle Measuring Systems determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for the Boulder, Colorado area. We will evaluate external equity, which is the relative marketplace job worth of jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
For new hires, we make competitive offers between the minimum and the midpoint of the range. There may be times when we will offer above the midpoint. The decision to do so will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and the compensation rates of the employees within the company doing the same position.
