Job summary

Harbor is seeking a Data Specialist for the Ohio Means Jobs location in Lucas County. The role focuses on collecting, interpreting, and reporting data to demonstrate program value, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

You'll work full-time on first shift, collaborating with program staff to produce timely reports and support OMJ operations. A practical background in data systems and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with two years’ data interpretation and report writing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong network and database skills.
• Experience with Salesforce, CFIS and ARIES database design.
• Experience developing and running reports.
• Ability to train others and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Enter and monitor client, employer, and service information in state, county, and Harbor systems.
• Maintain data Security guidelines and report integrity.
• Review error reports and ensure data accuracy in reports.
• Run reports and take corrective action to ensure data completeness.
• Produce and monitor outcome reports for program efficiency.
• Provide backup to registration specialist.
• Test IS functions as developed or modified.
• Serve as data resource for management, program, and support staff.
• Develop training materials and user manuals for staff.
• Support staff access to county/state systems for OMJ programming.
• Ensure proper filing and storage of data entry documents.
• Assist with customer satisfaction evaluation and reporting.
• Assist with OMJ outcomes reporting to partners and stakeholders.
• Develop reports as requested by management.
