Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY seeks a Data Solutions Manager to lead data strategy, engineering, and delivery of analytics capabilities in a hybrid IT environment. You will guide the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, grow a high-performance data engineering team, and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards.

You will partner with IG IT, Data Management, BI, Finance, and SAP teams to deliver scalable data solutions while managing continuity risk during the transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in data roles with 5+ years leading technical data teams.
• Experience building data architecture and engineering principles.
• Strong SQL, Spark, Python, and ELT tooling expertise.
• Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing and ERP data migrations to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data solutions team for architecture, engineering, and delivery.
• Define target-state data architecture for IG including lakehouse modeling and BI enablement.
• Sequence a multi-year data solutions roadmap balancing value, cost, risk.
• Ensure reliability of current IG data warehouse and analytics platforms.
• Lead migration onto the Databricks lakehouse with governance alignment.
• Collaborate with Data Governance on documentation of logic and KPIs.
• Manage ERP data migration teams across SAP ECC and legacy ERP systems.
