Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Data line of business. You will support the technical sales process for SAR data products, collaborating with Sales and Product teams to develop tailored solutions and deliver compelling demonstrations.

Ideal candidates have a bias for learning, strong customer engagement skills, and a desire to grow into senior technical sales roles. The role combines technical problem solving with communication and sales support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical or customer-facing role.
• Foundational understanding of remote sensing, geospatial tech, or engineering concepts.
• Interest in satellite imagery and data-driven decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear, confident communication and cross-collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn presentation and technical sales skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with AI tools for writing, presentations, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to gather customer requirements and tailor technical solutions.
• Learn to translate customer needs into technical deliverables with guidance from seniors.
• Support technical presentations, demos, bids, and proposals for customers.
• Maintain technical docs, product specs, and bid materials.
• Use AI tools for research, data analysis, and automation to improve productivity.
• Participate in proof-of-concept activities, product evaluations, and testing.
• Stay current on ICEYE’s product offerings and Earth observation landscape.
• Grow into a more senior Sales Engineer role.
