Job summary

Definian is hiring a Senior Consultant to join our growing delivery team in the United States. This entry-level role is designed for problem solvers who want to work at the intersection of data, technology, and consulting.

You will collaborate with clients to understand requirements, design and test technical solutions, and deliver meaningful business outcomes. You’ll learn core skills in SQL, Python, data transformation, and enterprise applications such as Oracle and Workday, building

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data or consulting on implementation projects (Workday or Oracle preferred).
• 1 year direct experience with structured data (analyzing, organizing, reporting).
• BS/BA degree.
• Intermediate experience with a programming or scripting language.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and VBA.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Inquisitive nature and desire to learn.
• Personal drive to go above and beyond.
• Ownership and accountability for your work.
• Strong ethics.
• Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom solutions for clients using tools including Premier’s Applaud, SQL, PowerShell, Excel, VBA.
• Use quantitative methods to derive actionable insights from data.
• Own mission-critical data requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Provide guidance to clients as you tackle complex problems.
• Translate client requirements into technical deliverables.
• Deliver technology solutions across industries such as Manufacturing, Education, Government, Consumer & Industrial Products, Life Sciences & Healthcare.
• Understand clients' data landscape and advise on future-state strategy.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
