Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Data Services Delivery (DSD) Leader to own end-to-end data services delivery across multiple geographies, including both development and production support for data platforms, pipelines, and integrations.

This hybrid technical-managerial role requires strong leadership of large programs, hands-on data engineering credibility, and the ability to translate strategy into delivery roadmaps while driving governance, quality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience in data engineering/technology delivery with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading large, complex data programs end-to-end across geographies.
• Strong technical background in data engineering with hands-on experience in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Scala/Java).
• Data Governance, Data Management Services, Data modeling, Warehousing, and Integration Concepts.
• Experience with ITIL-based support models, incident/problem management, and SLA governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with senior business and technology leadership.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps/DataOps delivery practices.
• Strong people leadership, mentoring 20 - 1000+ FTEs onshore/offshore.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Own and drive end-to-end data services delivery for development/enhancements and production support for data platforms and pipelines.
• Program & Stakeholder Leadership: Lead large cross-functional data programs with vendors and stakeholders across geographies.
• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on direction on data architecture, pipelines, data quality, and modern data platforms.
• Support Operations Management: Own production support operations, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
• Process & Governance: Implement and mature delivery frameworks (Agile/Scrum, ITIL, DevOps/DataOps) and ensure data governance and security compliance.
