Thales is hiring an experienced Data Security Sales Specialist to play a vital role in the growth and market penetration of Thales industry-leading security solutions in the Americas. In this role, you will function as a sales expert in Data, leveraging your product and industry knowledge to help attach Thales solutions to our customers' most critical business outcomes. You will utilize your existing relationships and those of the greater Thales organization to demonstrate enterprise sales skills, identify, qualify, position, and close new opportunities for Thales solutions. You must excel at solution-based sales techniques and partner with regional sales teams to strategize and execute team-based selling strategies. This role complements our field and sales engineering teams and is suitable for a candidate comfortable in a complex channel-first selling environment.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
  1. Align with Top Accounts at Global and Regional Levels
  2. Develop and execute a global account strategy to grow overall TCV of the account
  3. Provide product and solution SME support to support the top account strategy
  4. Showcase critical business outcomes to client decision-makers
  5. Construct innovative commercial models and enterprise licensing agreements addressing customer security outcomes
  6. Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic account plan with the account team, revising as needed
  7. Articulate Thales and account value propositions to C-level management
  8. Establish a quarterly business review cadence with account sponsors
  9. Maintain regular communication with sales teams and extended teams across Thales pillars
  10. Build relationships with customer executives, earning trust as a trusted business advisor
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of B2B sales experience/training, or equivalent
  2. Minimum of 10 years experience selling into large enterprise accounts
  3. Results-driven with ability to meet revenue targets and KPIs
  4. High ethical standards and trustworthiness in client relationships
  5. Adaptability to industry trends and strategic adjustments
Large Account Management Skills
  • Ability to work across large enterprises and lead cross-functional teams
  • Develop and execute enterprise-level account plans
  • Desire to cross-sell capabilities and align them with client strategic visions
  • Deep knowledge of customer environment and ability to displace competitors based on business value
  • Strategic pursuit and deal leadership skills
  • Builds compelling business cases based on client goals and competitive landscape
Deal Structuring Skills
  • Experience leading large strategic transactions
  • Experience developing enterprise license agreements
  • Leadership in pursuit design, development, and execution

  • Clear presentation of business plans to executives and internal teams
  • Leadership in architectural discussions aligned with client strategy

The Total Target Compensation range for this position is USD 197,760.00 - 357,400.80 annually, depending on various factors including experience and performance.
