Job summary

BachnerElectroUSA in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Data & Security Project Manager to lead Data Infrastructure and Security initiatives from award through closeout. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, within budget, and outstanding client satisfaction while driving operational excellence and financial success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing structured cabling, fiber optic, low-voltage, and security projects.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and financial management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel across the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage Data Infrastructure and Security projects from initiation through completion.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and per client requirements.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams during project execution.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documents, and reporting requirements.
• Assist with customer invoicing and ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Oversee project financials, forecasting, labor productivity, and budget performance.

Duties&Responsibilities

ProjectManagement

  • Supportprojectestimating,procurement,andmaterialmanagementactivities.

SecuritySystemsResponsibilities

• • ManageinstallationandimplementationofAccessControl,CCTV,VideoManagementSystems,IntrusionDetection,andrelatedsecuritytechnologies.
  • Coordinatesystemintegrationactivitieswithcustomers,manufacturers,andcommissioningteams.
  • Ensuresecuritysystemsareinstalled,tested,programmed,andcommissionedaccordingtoprojectspecifications.
  • Collaboratewithmanufacturersandtechnologypartnerstoensureproperdeploymentandfunctionalityofsecuritysolutions.
  • Supporttroubleshootingandresolutionoftechnicalissuesthroughoutprojectexecution.

Leadership&TeamDevelopment

• • Provideleadershipanddirectiontofieldsupervisors,foremen,technicians,andsubcontractors.
  • Conductregularprojectmeetingsandworkforceplanningsessions.
  • Completeperformancemanagementactivitiesincludingcoaching,performancereviews,developmentplans,anddisciplinaryactionswhennecessary.
  • Serveasatechnicalandoperationalresourceforprojectteams.
  • Promoteandenforcecompanysafetystandardsandbestpractices.

ClientRelations

• • Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithclients,contractors,utilities,permittingagencies,andprojectstakeholders.
  • RepresentBachnerElectroUSAprofessionallythroughoutallphasesofprojectexecution.
  • Supportbusinessdevelopmenteffortsthroughcustomerengagementandprojectsuccess.

Qualifications

Required
