Job summary

Bachner Electro USA seeks a Security Technician/Helper to assist with the installation, maintenance, and service of commercial and industrial electronic security systems in a fast-growing environment.

You will work on Access Control and IP Video Surveillance while assisting with low-voltage cabling, conduit installation, and supporting network infrastructure. Training and certifications are provided to build a successful career.

Qualifications

• Experience with Access Control Systems (preferred but not required).
• Experience with CCTV/IPCamera Systems (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of Electronic Door Hardware.
• Experience with Low-Voltage Cabling.
• Experience with Cat5e/Cat6/Fiber Installation.
• Experience with EMT/IMC or rigid conduit installation.
• Basic Networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, network switches).
• Construction or electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Install card readers, electric locks, request-to-exit devices, door contacts, and related access-control hardware.
• Install and mount IP cameras, brackets, housings, poles, and related surveillance equipment.
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
• Install EMT, IMC, and other raceway systems.
• Install network switches, PoE equipment, equipment cabinets, and supporting infrastructure.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and installation plans.
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify operation of security devices and cameras.
• Configure basic network-connected security equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

PositionOverview
