Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight assignments.
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards (ANSI, TIA/EIA, BICSI) and NEC; data network infrastructure knowledge.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and dress Category (Cat5–Cat6A) and fiber optic cabling.
• Test installed cabling using certification equipment.
• Install and configure racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, and workstation outlets.
• Perform MDF/IDF buildouts and ensure proper cable management.
• Interpret blueprints and layouts to execute installations accurately.
• Operate lifts and observe ladder safety protocols.
• Communicate with team members, supervisors, and client representatives.
• Maintain quality standards and meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and dress Category (Cat5–Cat6A) and fiber optic cabling
• Test installed cabling using appropriate certification equipment
• Install and configure racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, and workstation outlets
• Perform MDF/IDF buildouts and ensure proper cable management
• Interpret blueprints and system layouts to execute installations accurately
• Operate lifts and adhere to ladder safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and client representatives
• Maintain quality standards and meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Working knowledge of structured cabling standards (ANSI, TIA/EIA, BICSI) and NEC
• Familiarity with data network infrastructure
• Ability to follow safety protocols, including OSHA standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight assignments
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Little to no experience in commercial or industrial low-voltage installation will be considered for a Level I role
• 2+ years of experience will be considered for a Level II role
• 3+ years of experience will be considered for a Level III role
